| Since it was
chartered on February 7, 1890 by the United Association of
Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing, Pipefitting, and
Sprinkler Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada,
Plumbers and |
|
Gasfitters Local 12 has
been working to protect the rights of all plumbers in our
jurisdiction and fighting to protect the integrity of the
plumbing industry.
Plumbers and Gasfitters Local 12
work hand in hand with the
Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors of Greater Boston
(PHCC). Together we work to hard to maintain
prevailing wage laws so that anyone working on a public
project receives fair wages and benefits. We also work with
the various state and local bodies to ensure that
Massachusetts continues to maintain its high standards in
plumbing code.
Plumbers Protect the Health of the Nation. We
work on facilities such as the Deer Island Water Treatment
Plant, our hotels and stadiums, as well are your home or
small business. We're active in the community and we
give back whenever we have the opportunity.
